How to make delicious Dhaba Style Lahori Chanay at home

1: Chickpeas

Pepper (Kali Mirch Powder) aadha (Half) chaye ka chamach
8: Coriander
Powder (Sokha Dhaniya Pissa Hua) 1 khanay ka chamach
9: Cumin
Powder (Zeera) 1 khanay ka chamach (iss ko thora sa pees kar tawway per halki
aag per fry kar lain
10: Amchor
Powder 1 khanay ka chamach
11: Onion
(Peyaaz) 2 adad uss ko bareek chotta chotta kaat lain
12: Ginger
and Garlic (Lehsan or Adrak) ka paste bana lain 2 khanay k chamach
13: Fresh
Coriander (Sabz dhaniya katta hua)
14: Yogurt
(Dahi) 4 khanay k chamach
15: Cooking
Oil half cup (Aadha Cup) se thora sa zeyada
Preparation of Lahori Channay
STEP 1: Half cup Channay or
1 Potato ko chopper main daal kar paste bana lain
STEP 2: Aik bartan main
Cooking Oil half cup (Aadha Cup) se thora sa zeyada daal dain,
or jab oil thora garam ho jaye to uss main 2 bareek kattay huye Onion (Peyaaz)
daal dain or halki aag (fire) per fry karna start kar dain or light brown honay
tak peyaaz ko fry kartay rahain, jab Peyaaz halkay brown ho jaayen to uss main Ginger
and Garlic (Lehsan or Adrak) ka paste daal dain or issay bhi achi tarhan se fry
kar lain.
STEP 3: Ab iss kay andar Salt (Namak) daal dain
STEP 4: Red Chilli (Mirch) Powder daal dain
STEP 5: Red Chilli Crushed (Kutti huyi Red Mirch) daal
dain
STEP 6: Turmeric Powder (Haldi) daal dain
STEP 7: Achi tarhan se sab masaalon ko mix kar
lain or 2 minute tak masaalon ko bhoon lain achi tarhan se, yani (fry) kar
lain.
STEP 8: Ab
iss ka andar Half cup Channay or 1
Potato ka jo paste bana kar rakha tha wo daal dain or achi tarhan se Channay or
Aalo k paste ko iss main mix kar lain, or 1 minute tak paknay dain saath ussay
chamach se mix kartay rahain.
STEP 9: Ab iss main Coriander Powder (Sokha
Dhaniya Pissa Hua) daal dain
STEP 10: Cumin Powder (Zeera) iss main daal dain
STEP 11: Amchor Powder iss main daal dain
STEP 12: Black Pepper (Kali Mirch Powder) daal dain
STEP 13: Or ab inn sab masaalon ko phir se achi
tarhan se mix kar lain or achi tarhan bhoon lain, or fry kar lain, iss massalay ko bohat hi achi tarhan se
bhoonna hai, fry karna hai, wo iss liye k issi masaalay main hi Channo ka taste
bannay ga, iss liye jitna acha ye fry hoga utna hi acha taste aaye ga, darmiyni
aag (fire) per iss ko achi tarhan se bhoontay rahain, fry kartay rahain or
jahan aap ko mehsoos ho kay masaala neechay lag raha hai to thora sa paani daal
lain or mix kartay huye achi tarhan se bhoon lain, fry kar lain. Jab masaala
achi tarhan fry ho jaye to step 14 ko follow karain.
STEP 14: Ab iss main boil kiye huye jo Channay aap ne
rakhay hain wo iss main daal dain.
STEP 15: Or Channo ko achi tarhan se mix kar lain
masaalay k andar
STEP 16: Ab iss k andar 1 cup or aadha cup ½ cup
paani daal dain or achi tarhan se mix kar lain
STEP 17: Achi tarhan mix karnay k baad iss ko 4 se 5
minute k liye dam dey dain
STEP 18: Ab iss k andar Yogurt (Dahi) daal dain or
Dahi ko achi tarhan se iss main mix kar lain or 4 se 5 minute k liye bhoontay,
fry kartay rahain.
STEP 19: LAHORI CHANNAY ka saalan tayyar ho chukka hai,
ab iss k andar sabz dhaniya daal dain, or thori si adrak bareek kaat k daal
dain.
Mazay daar Lahori Cannay ready hain bilkull bazaar
jesay, khub bhi khaayen, ghar walon ko, Mehmaano ko bhi khilaayen.. or Enjoy taste enjoy karain.
